ITSSC section of GKCIET has stared its functioning since inception of this institute to support IT related
matter require for day to day Academic and Office Activity. This section has 100 Mbps NKN and 50 Mbps
BSNL Internet lease line to distribute internet connection in different departments and offices of this
institute. CCTV service has been installed in strategic locations of GKCIET campus and monitor regularly.
Network firewall has been installed to restrict unwanted connection from outside of the institute and
record network activity logs in log analyzer server. Official website of GKCIET has been designed, develop
and deployed by concern officials of GKCITE. Necessary security precaution on Web server has been
configured to protect unwanted activity on it and SSL security certificated is attached on website to
provide HTTPS connection to clients. Institute has developed on web base software by concern officials
to recode all Devices information in centralized manner and necessary upgradation is going on to reflect
upcoming requirements. GKCIET provide email service to all employees, departments and offices under
GKCIET official domain and necessary support on Email service is provided by this section. This section
provide day to day troubleshooting and maintenance service throughout the year on Computers, UPS,
Printer, CCTV, Network, etc devices so that all the departments and offices of GKCIET are running
smoothly. ITSSC provide active contribution to conduct conference, programme, seminar, webinar, ec in
hybrid mode so that location and remote participate may attend the programme without any issue. Bio-
Matric attendance of employee of GKCIET are recoded through face recognition system and attendance of
all the employees are storage in central cloud server so that all the departments / Offices may get
attendance report of the concern employees. ITSSC has started E-Governance service through Samarth
ERP. Different modules are implementing step by step. This section conducts different online exams of
National Test Center throughout the year as well as Govt./semi Govt. competitive exams.
